Scott, a renowned musician, composer, and arranger, will be joined by an ensemble of top-tier studio musicians. Among them is Sonoma’s own Todd Tribble, who will perform on drums.

Scott’s career spans decades and includes iconic contributions to television and popular music. As a young composer, he created the theme songs for the hit TV series Starsky and Hutch and The Streets of San Francisco. His saxophone solo can be heard on Paul McCartney and Wings’ hit song “Listen to What the Man Said.”

He was also a member of the original Blues Brothers band and has worked with a long list of major artists, including Johnny Mathis, Michael Jackson, the Grateful Dead, Captain and Tenille, and Barbra Streisand.

Scott’s work with the LA Express, especially his collaborations with Joni Mitchell, remains a highlight of his career. Over the years, he has received 13 Grammy nominations and has won three.

The upcoming show at Sebastiani Theatre is expected to feature a powerful mix of styles, blending jazz, rock, and fusion with expert musicianship. For local music fans, it’s an event not to be missed.
